Alpha Omega Publications’ Switched-On-Schoolhouse forms the basis of the computerized aspect of Shepherd Ranch’s program.

CURRICULUM:  Shepherd's Ranch Christian Academy uses a semester with interim course work and a summer session.  Courses, course descriptions, goals and objectives comply with the University of California admission standards.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS: Shepherd's Ranch Christian Academy requires 24 accumulated units, including Physical Education, for graduation.  One unit represents completion of one year in a course; semester courses earn one half-unit.

GRADING SYSTEM: Students’ marks are translated directly from percentage averages in the course work to the grade point average.  For helpful reference, an equivalent letter grade is displayed to aid in comparing students’ marks with other grading systems.

95 –100% = A

87-89% = B+

77-79% = C+

67-69% = D+

59% = F

90-94% = A-

84-86% = B

74-76% = C

64-66% = D

Pass = P

 

80-83% = B-

70-73% = C-

60-63% = D-

 

STANDARDIZED TESTING: Juniors can take the S.A.T. in May and June, then again in October and December of their senior year.  The P.S.A.T. is available to Juniors in October.
